Ryan served for eight years as an active-duty Army Officer prior to attending the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Upon graduation, he worked for Republic Services for four years where he developed a passion for sustainability while leading waste collection and landfill operations as a General Manager. He enjoys solving dynamic problems and working at the intersection of energy transition and profitability. He has a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from SMU in Dallas, TX. Ryan is married with two children and enjoys exploring Colorado with his family.
